At Raynham, we blend tradition with excellence, focusing on sustainable agriculture. A key part of our efforts is our Aberdeen Angus suckler herd, which forms the basis of our premium beef offerings.
We are excited to now offer Raynham Beef Boxes and individual cuts from this herd, though availability varies due to the unique nature of each cow.
Our farming team prioritise the well-being and natural rearing of our cattle. Our Aberdeen Angus suckler herd embodies this philosophy, where calves stay alongside their mothers, fostering a nurturing environment and promoting their overall welfare.
One of the hallmarks of our herd is its purity. We exclusively maintain a pure Aberdeen lineage, recognising its increased desirability. With 220 cows under our care, each member of our herd is cherished and respected.
To ensure a balanced and managed herd size, we operate two calving groups: 140 cows calving in the spring and 80 in the autumn. This meticulous approach allows us to maintain optimal herd dynamics while ensuring the well-being of both mothers and calves.
Our commitment to sustainability extends to every facet of our operation. From birth to finish, all our cattle are raised and finished right here on the farm. They spend six months grazing outdoors on our lush parkland, fostering healthy and content animals in harmony with nature.

Nutrition plays a pivotal role in the well-being of our herd. We take great pride in producing maize/grass silage on our farm, ensuring our cattle receive the optimum nutrition they deserve. Additionally, we supplement their diet with brewers’ grain sourced locally, further enhancing their diet with quality ingredients.
At Raynham, sustainability isn’t just a buzzword—it’s a way of life. Our cattle are slaughtered at an optimal age range of 16-22 months, allowing for sustainable farming practices without compromising on quality or flavour.
