The Turnip Tent: Your Glamping Kitchen Hub
At Wild Meadow Glamping, the Turnip Tent is a safari-style communal space located next to the fire pit, designed to enhance your glamping experience. It offers a fully equipped kitchen area with individual kitchen equipment allocated for each yurt. The Turnip Tent provides seating for up to 37 guests and includes:
- 6 induction hobs
- 4 Belfast sinks
Each yurt is provided with the following kitchen essentials:
- Fridge with a small freezer section
- Kettle
- Kitchenware: Large stockpot with lid, 2 saucepans with lids, frying pan, mixing bowl, colander
- Utensils: Spatula, slotted spoon, serving spoon, wooden spoons, chef knife, bread knife, paring knife, potato masher, peeler, corkscrew, scissors, can opener, chopping board
- Tableware: 5 sets of cutlery, enamel plates, bowls, mugs, tumblers, and more
- Other: BBQ tools, tea towels, sponge, and a welcome pack with coffee, tea, biscuits, and milk

Private Showers and Toilets for Every Yurt
Each yurt at Wild Meadow Glamping offers exclusive access to private shower and toilet facilities, handcrafted using oak from the Raynham Estate. Yurts like Foxglove, Poppy, Shepherd’s Purse, Ragged Robin, Bee Orchid, and Forget-Me-Not have their own allocated facilities nearby. For added convenience, Clover and Corncockle yurts come with en-suite bathrooms.
The facilities ensure a clean, private, and comfortable experience during your stay. Hand wash and 3in1 hair and body wash are included but please bring your own towels.

Nothing beats the charm of a cosy campfire, and our communal fire pit is the perfect spot to gather in the evenings. Set in a woodland copse next to the Turnip Tent, the fire pit features log seating and fairy lights, creating an enchanting atmosphere. It’s a great place to toast marshmallows, enjoy a glass of wine, and meet fellow glampers.
