Welcome to The Copse, an exclusive private dining venue on the historic Raynham Estate. Surrounded by ancient woodlands and rolling parkland, The Copse offers seasonal menus that celebrate the estate’s grass-fed, low-intervention Aberdeen Angus herd, alongside produce sourced from local producers. With no public access, every gathering — from relaxed Sunday lunches to signature farm suppers — is a truly intimate experience, rooted in provenance, simplicity, and a deep connection to the land.

Price: £80 per person for a  three-course set menu (drinks not included)

Set within the intimate surrounds of The Copse, our Farm Suppers bring people together around shared tables — a communal dining experience rooted in the rhythms of the land and the understated charm of the estate. With views across open parkland and bench seating that encourages conversation, the setting is relaxed, welcoming, and quietly memorable.

The menu changes with every weekend we host events, shaped by what’s at its peak — estate-reared Raynham beef, estate venison including muntjac, locally sourced organic lamb and pork, hand-picked local produce, freshly baked bread, and three generous courses, thoughtfully prepared. No two evenings are quite the same, but each reflects the very best of the season.

We’re happy to accommodate dietary requirements with advance notice.

Our bar offers a selection of wines, beers, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks — thoughtfully chosen to complement the seasonal menu — with an emphasis on local producers and seasonal choices.

Sunday Lunches at The Copse

Two sittings available: 12:30pm and 3.00pm

Price: £50 per person for a two-course set menu (drinks not included)

There’s nothing quite like a Sunday Roast — a timeless tradition and the perfect excuse to gather with friends and family over comforting, generous food, especially in a setting like The Copse.

The space is light-filled and welcoming, with a warming fire and communal bench seating designed to bring people together.

Sunday Lunch is a relaxed, two-course set menu showcasing roast beef from our own Aberdeen Angus herd here on the Raynham Estate. It’s served with seasonal vegetables and exceptional Norfolk produce from like-minded growers and makers. Menus may also occasionally feature estate venison, locally sourced organic lamb, or pork, depending on seasonality and availability.

Children at The Copse

We welcome families to The Copse for both our Farm Suppers and Sunday Lunches. That said, these are relaxed, shared dining experiences designed to be savoured. For this reason, we recommend the experience for older children (aged 10 and above) who are happy to enjoy a slower-paced meal.

There is no children’s menu; full ticket price applies.

Additional Notes for Guests

  • Dietary requirements are welcome — please let us know in advance. If you are pescatarian, a vegetarian menu will be provided.
  • We can only accommodate dietary requirements, not personal preferences.
  • While we do not mill or produce flour onsite, we cannot guarantee a gluten-free environment for Coeliac guests.
  • Each sitting allows for up to 2 hours. For a more relaxed experience, we recommend booking the later sitting.
  • The Copse operates by reservation only. Walk-ins are not permitted.
  • Due to the open kitchen, no dogs are allowed inside the restaurant (assistance dogs accepted).
