Chef George Wood
George presented ‘Wood at The Copse’ this past summer with a series of events showcasing his expertise in cooking over fire.
George was head chef at Brix & Bones in Norwich, bringing with him experience from the hospitality industry across the globe, including Australia, Sri Lanka, and Japan.
With a deep interest and skill set in whole beast butchery, fermenting, and curing, George’s menus were both intriguing and diverse.
‘Wood at The Copse’ was a fitting inaugural event for this venue, making full use of fireside cooking methods, bringing the essence of nature indoors, and highlighting the finest local produce and talent.
