Private dining in the heart of Norfolk

The Copse is an exclusive private dining venue on the historic Raynham Estate. Surrounded by ancient woodland and open parkland, it offers seasonal menus that highlight the estate’s grass-fed Aberdeen Angus beef alongside ingredients sourced from trusted local producers.

At its heart is an open kitchen, a theatre for our chefs to bring fire and flavour to every dish. Our bespoke grill and wood-fired pizza oven, designed especially for Raynham, give The Copse its distinctive flame-grilled character and make every meal a unique experience.

This is not a public restaurant. All visits are by reservation only. Whether joining us for Sunday lunch or the Raynham Secret Supper Club, every gathering is a carefully hosted, intimate experience rooted in provenance, simplicity and a deep connection to the land.

Join us for the social event of the summer! Think fine dining, fine wines, and exclusive Norfolk views.

We are honoured to welcome renowned chef Galton Blackiston back to The Copse this June for an unforgettable summer evening of exceptional food, beautiful surroundings, and refined hospitality.

Guests will enjoy canapes and a complementary glass of Cobble Hill’s Sparkling Rose on arrival, followed by a 5-course Summer Tasting menu that celebrates the very best of the season, showcasing locally sourced ingredients at their peak, including Norfolk’s finest beef. Each course has been thoughtfully designed to highlight fresh flavours, elegant techniques, and the essence of summer dining.

Set within the stunning natural landscape of Raynham Estate, The Copse provides a truly unique setting – where rustic charm meets understated luxury. As the evening unfolds, guests will enjoy a carefully paced tasting journey, complemented by the tranquil atmosphere of the estate.

Guests may opt for our carefully paired wine flight which will be available on the evening, or choose from our range of fine wines, spirits and be the first to enjoy StumpRat Brewing Co’s ‘Skinny Dip’ IPA, brewed right here on the estate.

We are partnering with local names to bring you an on-trend evening, featuring timeless interiors, fine wines and laid back Jazz music – you don’t want to miss this!

Children at The Copse

We welcome families to The Copse for both our Secret Supper Club and Sunday lunches. That said, these are relaxed, shared dining experiences designed to be savoured. For this reason, we recommend the experience for older children (aged 10 and above) who are happy to enjoy a slower-paced meal.

There is no children’s menu, and the full ticket price applies.

  • While we do not mill or produce flour onsite, we cannot guarantee a gluten-free environment for Coeliac guests.
  • The Copse operates by reservation only; walk-ins are not permitted.
  • Due to the open kitchen, dogs are not allowed inside the restaurant (assistance dogs accepted).
