Herd Manager
Due to retirement, a rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Herd Manager to oversee a well-respected 600-head, closed Aberdeen Angus suckler herd on the Raynham Estate.
Key responsibilities:
• Hands on, day-to-day management of the herd
• Calving, breeding programmes, finishing, and herd health planning
• Feeding regimes, forage utilisation, and grassland management
• Accurate record keeping and performance monitoring
• Operation and maintenance of livestock machinery
• Ensuring high welfare and farm assurance standards
Requirements:
Proven experience in beef suckler herd management, attention to detail, self-motivated with a can-do attitude, the ability to work within a team. Full UK driving licence

Housekeeper
This position is for an additional Housekeeping Assistant working at Raynham Hall. You will be working within a small, developing team in an incredible place, helping with the day-to-day cleaning and care of the property and its contents. Training will be provided where required.
Additionally, there may be the opportunity to develop the role further in the future to include assisting at special events held at the property, this will include further training in high-end service.
Key responsibilities:
• Cleaning and arranging family and guest rooms.
• Changing bedding and linen.
• Laundry and ironing duties.
• Stocking and maintaining an inventory of housekeeping supplies.
• Cleaning furniture to a required standard.
• Cleaning bathrooms and kitchen / utility areas.
• Cleaning flooring.
• The conservation of valuable items.
Requirements:
Housekeeping / cleaning experience is essential. Must be reliable, trustworthy and responsible. Must have an understanding of the approach required when working with fragile historic collections. A willingness to undertake continuing professional development, personal skills development and have enthusiasm to learn. Must possess the ability to always maintain a high level of strict confidentiality and professionalism. An understanding of health & safety / emergency procedures. DBS check will be required. Must be comfortable with dogs & children.
